Terms and conditions
The Car Club
For the purposes of these terms and conditions:
- "Contract" means the agreement between The Valeters London LTD and you for the provision of Services in accordance with these Terms.
- "Nominated Vehicle" means the vehicle for which the Services are intended.
- "Services" refers to the car washing services offered.
- "Site" indicates the location where the Services are provided, which you select during registration.
- "Subscription" represents the recurring subscription for using the Services.
- "Terms" refers to these terms and conditions as amended from time to time.
- "We," "Us," or "Our" pertains to The Valeters London LTD.
- "You" or "Your" designates a subscriber of The Valeters London LTD Car Club Subscription.
2.1. To be eligible for the Services, subscribers must:
- Be 17 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid UK driving license.
- Be a fully insured driver of the Nominated Vehicle.
2.2. The Services are exclusively intended for consumer use and may not be used by commercial businesses, including but not limited to private hire, hackney carriage, automotive trade, rental, or liveried vehicles. Neither employees of The Valeters London LTD nor operators of our sites, nor their family members, may register for a Subscription or use the Services.
2.3. The application for a Subscription should be made following the procedure outlined in the eligibility criteria. The acceptance or rejection of your application is at the discretion of The Valeters London LTD, with rejection possible for reasons such as non-disclosure of business use of your vehicle.
2.4. You confirm that all information provided during the Subscription application is accurate and complete.
2.5. Upon registration, you can choose your Subscription package. The details of all available Subscription packages can be found on our website. You can change your Subscription at any time.
2.6. The Subscription includes up to a specified number of washes for your Nominated Vehicle at the designated Site within each Subscription period.
2.7 The subscription service is only eligible for customers who are located within our catchment area.
3. Provision of the Services
3.1. Your Subscription is linked to your selected local site. The majority of your Wash Subscription usage (80%) must occur at the designated Site. If more than 20% of your Wash Subscription redemptions are at another site, we may change your selected base site, and you will be charged the subscription price for the new site. You will be notified by email in such cases, and you have the option to cancel your Subscription.
3.2. A Subscription is valid only for your Nominated Vehicle, the registration number of which you provide during Subscription registration.
3.3. Changes to your Nominated Vehicle and registered email address are limited to four amendments per year. A vehicle previously nominated cannot be reinstated as the Nominated Vehicle under the same Subscription. You can change your Nominated Vehicle by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with details of the old and new registered vehicles.
3.4 You may Reschedule your subscription wash by giving us atleast 24hrs notice, the rescheduled date must be within the calendar month billing cycle.
3.5 Under no circumstances would we refund your monthly subscription if you have chosen to skip and fail to reschedule in line with term 3.4.
3.6 In the unlikely circumstance that we can't attend your scheduled appointment, we will promptly inform you and provide alternative dates and times that suit your convenience within the billing month.
4.1. To access the Services, you must choose a Subscription and pay a recurring Subscription fee (Subscription Payments). During registration, you must select whether to pay Subscription Payments by credit card or direct debit.
4.2. Subscription Payments are paid a month in advance, payable on the 1st of every month.
4.3. If you decide to change your Subscription during a Billing Cycle, the change will take effect at the end of the current Billing Cycle, and any Subscription Payment already made will not be refundable.
4.4. Amendments to Subscription Payment rates will be notified via email. If you wish to cancel your Subscription due to changes in Subscription Payments, you can do so following the procedure outlined in these Terms.
5. Promotional Offers
5.1. For new customers, promotional offers with reduced Subscription Payment rates may be issued from time to time. At the end of a promotional offer period, the full Subscription Payment will be charged as per condition 4 of these Terms.
6. Cancellation of the Services
6.1. We may cancel your Subscription at our discretion, immediately and without notice, if you:
(a) Fail to meet the eligibility criteria outlined in condition 2.1 or 2.2.
(b) Fail to make a Subscription Payment when due and do not do so within 7 days of a payment reminder.
(c) Engage in abusive behavior towards our equipment, partners, or their employees, or are suspected of such behavior.
(d) Breach the Terms of this Subscription or provide false information.
6.2. You have the right to cancel your Subscription within 14 days of agreeing to take out a Subscription, as per the procedure detailed in this condition. If exercised within the specified time frame, you will receive a full refund of any Subscription Payment made, provided you have not used the Services during the initial 14-day period. The use of the model cancellation form is optional but can be used for convenience.
6.3. You can deactivate your Subscription at any time by emailing customer services at email@example.com with your car registration details. Cancellation processing may take up to 7 working days, and Subscription Payments due during this period are not refundable.
6.4. All Subscription Payments are due and payable on the first day of your Billing Cycle and are non-refundable unless required by law or regulation in the UK. If you cancel your Subscription mid-Billing Cycle, no refund will be provided for the remaining period, but you may continue to use the Services until the Billing Cycle ends.
7. Maintenance and Servicing of Equipment
7.1. We are committed to regular maintenance and servicing of our vehicles and washing equipment to maintain legal compliance, quality and availability. During maintenance, our services may be temporarily interrupted. If this is the case, we will contact you in advance.
8. Health and Safety
8.1. The highest levels of health and safety are maintained across our functions.
8.2. Report any incidents resulting in damage or loss to our equipment or your possessions to the operator as soon as possible and complete an incident report form.
9. How We May Use Your Personal Information
9.1. The information you provide during the registration process will be used for:
(a) Providing access to the Services.
(b) Gathering your feedback and notifying you about important changes.
(c) Contacting you about our other products or services if you have agreed during registration.
(d) Providing payment information to our payment partner, as governed by their privacy policies.
9.2. We retain access to all personal information for as long as necessary, as permitted by law.
9.4. We do not disclose, sell, or distribute your information to third parties without your permission unless required by law.
9.5. You may update your information at any time, subject to restrictions as outlined in condition 3.3.
9.6. Strict security procedures are followed to protect your personal information.
10.1. Our liability is not limited where it would be unlawful. This includes liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence.
10.2. We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage due to breach of these terms or lack of reasonable care and skill, but not for unforeseeable loss or damage.

12. How We Resolve Disputes
We aim to resolve disputes promptly and fairly. If you have a complaint that is not resolved on-Site, please provide details and contact information to customer services. We will respond within 5 working days.
13.1. We will notify you of changes to these Terms in writing to the email address provided during registration. Notice will specify the effective date of the proposed changes.
13.2. If you disagree with the revisions to these Terms, you have the right to terminate your Subscription by canceling it. A pro-rata refund of any Subscription Payment may be applicable if termination occurs during a Billing Cycle.
13.3. Invalidation of any part of these Terms by a court will not affect the rest of the Terms. A delay in enforcing any provision will not prevent later enforcement.
13.4. Transfer of benefits or obligations under these Terms requires our written consent.
13.5. These Terms are governed by English law, and legal proceedings regarding the Services can be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
